Blob Translations is currently on the look-out for fellow blob and novel-lovers!
We’re a very laid-back group without strict obligations — we’re all about having fun while working together~ 
Our staff has the freedom to choose the stories they want to work on, when and how they’ll do it, and who they’ll be working with. We’re also interested in diverse projects — may they be oneshots or monoliths spanning thousands of chapters, written in the Big 3 (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) or in the other 7, 104 languages of the world, in a popular genre that’s all the rage nowadays or a less mainstream tale, we welcome them with arms wide, wide open! 
(Oh, but though any genre under the sun is fine and well, we want to keep the site kid-friendly and PG-13, so…yeah…)
So if you’re interested and don’t have anything else to do anyway, why not apply?
It’s totally cool and peachy if you’re new to the translation scene! 
We’re doing this to give back to the community first and foremost. As of the moment, we have no intentions of putting up ads or setting-up early-access chapters, but that doesn’t mean we have nothing going on for us! What we can offer are…drumroll please…early access to all projects we’re working on and an awesome support system!

Please note, we do not accept any more Qidian novels.

If you’re proficient in both source and target languages and are willing to be responsible for checking the accuracy of the translations, please fill out the relevant form and follow the instructions at the bottom.
Our own translators and tlcs do the evaluations of the submissions so depending on their schedules, the results may come out around a week or so. If you have any inquiries, comments or suggestions, do send us a message via the Contact Us page or at blobtranslations[at]gmail[dot]com! 
Editors
If you’re interested in applying as an editor, please fill out this application form and submit at your earliest time of convenience.
Editors have a two-part test. The first part is a challenge paragraph at the bottom of the application form, and the second part (an unedited chapter from one of our novels) will be given for you to work on once you pass. There is no time limit for the second part, but we would recommend that you submit it within a week (or give a heads-up if you need more time).
